OLF Sisters, Seekers and Builders of the Kingdom of God (Matt 6:33, OLF 8th General Chapter Acts 2019, P6)
We envisage a Congregation that is Christ Centered; strengthened by faith in God, inspired by the Kingdom values of love, peace, justice, integrity, we seek in all simplicity to serve and empower people especially, the less privileged in a collaborative spirit for a more fraternal and just world (OLF Chapter Acts, 2009, P21).
Actualisation of God’s love in our world by, “Bringing Christ to the world and the world to Christ” (Bishop John Reddington, Sermon, 13th January, 1965), in collaboration with the clergy and laity. We aim to evangelize the people in ways that are deeply rooted in the Gospel values and in the culture of the people, according to the signs and needs of the times, nurturing the seed of the Word already present in every culture (OLF Chapter Acts, 2009,P21)
Our Lady of Fatima Sisters, inspired by the call and life-giving mission of Jesus (Luke 4:28) as effective builders of the Kingdom of God, ponder, explore and carry out the mission of holistic evangelization. This is done through radical living of Consecrated lifeand apostolic outreach (OLF Identity, 2001, P2)
The Sisters give witness to Christ through generous and spontaneous response to the cries of the children of God and especially the deprived and vulnerable. This is expressed through Education, Health care and Socio-Pastoral apostolates.
